Snotty Saturday

So today has been a bit of a quiet one as I am unfortunately still a bit snotty, although as the day has gone on, I feel a bit better. I took some night nurse last night and M slept on the airbed on our top floor, both things meant that I got a really decent nights sleep.

We didn’t do too much this morning and then this afternoon whilst M did an outdoor workout, I did a bit of gardening. This was prompted by my delivery of seedboms which came yesterday. The idea is that you wet them and then throw them somewhere where there is soil and you would like them to, or think they should grow. They came from a company called Little Green Sub but the originate from Kabloom

I got a Love Bom and and a Great British Bloomer which should produce some Forget-me-nots and a selection of red/white/blue flowers, so I will let you know how they get on.

I also received a delivery in the week of a rose called “Margaret Merrill” which I bought in memory of mum who was of course called Margaret. It’s a white rose and after a bit of a dig through our slightly rubbish soil, we did manage to plant it. <3

We have been to see dad tonight and he wasn’t doing too bad, even though his sleeping pattern seems to be be a bit up the spout. Still it’s just about 7 weeks since mum died, and we are still getting used to the fact that she’s gone – we may never be fully healed.

Also and finally, I found a couple of photos on my phone of the amazing chocolate shop in Keswick – another must visit, if you are up that way.

Hope you are having a great weekend!
