So here we are and it’s already Thursday, the weeks are just flying by, I’ve had busyish week with work, but other than that, nothing too exciting to report. The weather is so changeable but on Tuesday night, M and I sat outside till gone 8pm as the sun was out and we even had out tea outside.
I bumped into dad yesterday whilst I was at the garage and he ended up coming round to our house for a brew. He had been to the crematorium in Warrington to try and see the entry of his mum & dad in the official book, but due to some arcane rules, they wouldn’t let him. The quoted privacy issues, but surely death records are all a matter of public record?
Anyway, we are also revving up for Father’s Day on Sunday as we are having a BBQ for my dad in the afternoon and my sister, her husband and the girls are all coming, which should be fun. Then later on Sunday, we are having a little “cake and champagne” do for M’s dad, who we all call “Wack”. I have honestly forgotten why over the annals of time, but it’s just his name to me now. 🙂
I have also had lots and lots of visits to community projects this week with me going to The Sea Cadets in Wigan yesterday and a community centre in Lowton today. I like these visits, I get to see so many interesting projects.
M and I also had fund filming a “Friends Challenge” video which was given to us by our lovely friend Elizabeth… I will post it soon… watch this space!
