So the last week M and I have felt like we were crawling to the end of the week. If you have read some of my earlier blogs, you will know we’ve had a rough old year so far and as of Friday 4th September, we had 9 days off work.. bliss.
But before Friday I had lots of work things to get sorted, which included a visit to St George’s Hall in Liverpool (more in a bit). However on Thursday it was my amazing mother and father-in-law’s 55th Wedding Anniversary. Wow, I think that is an amazing achievement and we celebrated with them at a lovely restaurant in Manchester called Albert’s Shed.
We had a great night and it was lovely to see everyone. Also, one other exciting thing, was that as we parked up at the restaurant, we came across some young people practising free running….
So that was Thursday and then on Friday, I had to visit St George’s Hall in Liverpool to see the rooms ready for a work event in November called “Celebrate Success“. The Prince’s Trust hosts these awards to celebrate the achievements of the young people we work with. This year it’s going to hosted by Simon Rimmer and I have to say that St George’s Hall is going to be an amazing venue…
Then of course, the most exciting thing, is that we off to Anglesey for a few days soon for a bit of R&R, bit of walking, fish & chips and on one of the days a bit of pampering… can’t wait.
