Oh well we have had a lovely weekend, really very chilled. Friday night saw us visit M’s mum & dad after we had been to Ikea to get them the omnipresent Billy Bookcase! They in return, fed us chicken and chips and after a lovely catch-up we left feeling suitably stuffed and happy.
On Saturday, we went for breakfast at ChouxChouxbedo, which is our local and most gorgeous cafe and then went to visit and amazing indpendant cinema in St Helens which is based in a building I used to work from 10 years ago when I worked at St Helens council. It was great and I definintely think we will be back to check out a film!

Then of course we popped to St Helens whilst I did a bit of Buckingham Palace dress shopping, not yet sorted, but I’m enjoying the trying on. Also, just in case you haven’t already seen it, here is my invitation:
Then after the dress shopping we went to our local park try out the local gym, if you go to my YouTube channel at 5pm tomorrow (25th April) you will be able to see how we got on!
Today has been pretty cool too, with a gently start of tea & toast whilst watching the London Marathon, followed by a trip to Argos in Wigan to get some storage from the garden and then lots and lots of relaxation – perfect really, even if the weather was grey and horrible today.
Tomorrow sees me spending the day at the Piazza in Salford Quay working on The Prince’s Trust memory bus. I am hoping it’s going to be OK, but the weather forecast is decidedly wet – hey ho…
I am a very lucky girl.
