Comfort Food of the Gods? | Cheshire Farm Chips

Comfort Food of the Gods? | Cheshire Farm Chips

I don’t know about you, but sometimes my life gets busy and when I get in from work I can’t always be bothered cooking up a storm. I open the cupboards and fridge looking for something that I just throw in the oven without chopping, dicing and marinating for 20 minutes 2 hours.

So I was delighted when Cheshire Farm Chips got in touch to see if wanted to try some of their products. Now, full disclosure, the first product I tried were the Quality Seasoned Potato Wedges which we ate on the night they arrived. 20 minutes to cook and they were in our belly. Perfect.

BUT, after this we tried over the next 2 weeks a small selection of their other products including:

  • Quality Sliced Potatoes with Rosemary and Garlic
  • Quality Hand Cut Chips
  • Spicy Potato Bites

My favourite by far where the hand cut chips as they were just so crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. We didn’t have them with anything other than bread – chip butties a real northern staple right?? Although I have to say when we were dishing up, M did say that the only other thing he could have gone for was Chips & Egg. Oh yes.

The garlic potatoes were VERY garlicky and so mints at the ready after those, but the spicy potatoes were a lovely addition to chicken and vegetables. Cheshire Farm potatoes are really great thing to have in the freezer when you need something quick to eat and want to avoid a takeaway. Also, who doesn’t like chips??? You want chips now right..

You can get Cheshire Farm products directly from their website:

Or you can get them directly from your local stockists, which in my case is Red Bank Farm. Yum.
