Apologies first of all as I didn’t post last week, sometimes the days and weeks just slip away from me! But last week was a neutral week as when I got weighed, I had stayed the same. This didn’t really surprise me as I didn’t have the best week, my lack of planning meant that I got too hungry in places and so my snacks weren’t ideal.
But better news this week as I lost 1.5 lbs, which takes my total loss to 25 lbs and in my meeting, I got myself a new certificate and key ring to signify my 10% weight loss. This basically means that I have lost 10% of my original body weight. Weight Watchers does a fab article on what losing 10% can mean for your health – so go me.
I do honestly feel so much better already and a couple of times in the last couple of weeks, people have started to notice I had lost weight. My sister even said I was “glowing”! I also tried all my coats on yesterday and they now all fit me. I have spent the last couple of years using a very lightweight parker I bought from SimplyBe as my Winter coat, thanking heaven that we have had some very mild winters. But now my fur lined parker fits me again, which it hasn’t done for a while.
The funny thing is, is that my coats now range from Size 18 to XXXL – so who knows what size coat I actually am?! Anyway, onwards to another week of healthy choice and more movement.
